The simple and kind-hearted boy Wang Yi Chuan was admitted to the acting department of Southeast University of Arts because of his handsome appearance and solid professionalism. And there he met the roommates with whom he would live together for the next four years: Duan Shi Jie, who has the same handsome looks but often lacks confidence because of his height, Chen Dong Dong, a sarcastic hipster who has dropped out of school for two years, and Gu Shu Heng, a 16-year-old boy from the opera and literature department who has grown up under the pressure of his parents. Together they experienced academic shocks and relationships problem. From enemies to best friends, they become sworn brothers. The first semester of the freshman year was over, and the dormitory lights fell in the old alley of time, illuminating their youth.
